The brief for this Sandton penthouse was unambiguous: the finest possible audio experience in every room. Planetworld specified a Sonos-based multi-room system serving the main living areas, kitchen, and outdoor terrace, underpinned by a dedicated two-channel listening room anchored by McIntosh amplifiers and a carefully selected loudspeaker system. The listening room incorporates Trinnov room correction and was acoustically treated in collaboration with the interior design team to ensure the acoustic treatment enhanced rather than compromised the design intent. Smart home control via Control4 ties together the entertainment, lighting, and climate systems.
