Retrofitting smart home technology into an established home requires careful planning to deliver a seamless result without major structural disruption. For this Pretoria residence, Planetworld specified a Control4 automation system using a wireless Lutron lighting control solution — removing the need to rewire existing lighting circuits. A dedicated media room was converted into a home cinema with Klipsch speakers, a 4K projector, and Control4 scene control. The climate system, exterior security cameras, and front door access were all integrated into the same Control4 platform, providing the homeowner with full control from a single app.
